Policies and Procedures as described in the QRA Student Handbook (Training RTO Number - 5308) to be found on www.qldrifle.com or available on request.The Course will cover all of the important points of the Queensland Weapons Act that you need to know including different types of firearms and the basic operations of them along with range procedures, safety rules and hunting ethics which will be covered in the morning. The afternoon session covers the basics of accurate and safe shooting techniques, firing a few rounds at 25 meters, and a discussion of maintenance procedures. There will be two multiple choice examinations during the day. A Certificate of Attainment is issued upon successful completion of the course.Unlicensed persons must sign a 'declaration by unlicensed person to possess a weapon at an approved range' from which will be provided during the course.
